Cathy Sue Flynn (née Barker), 58, passed away peacefully on February 10th, 2026 in Catholic Hospice at Holy Cross Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Cathy was the daughter of C. Harold and Susan Barker and the wife of John Flynn Jr., who preceded her in death. Cathy found love again in 2017 when she met Mary Beth Coletta. They were married in 2019 and shared many beautiful memories. Together, they spent many happy days with their friends, family, and furbabies, Noel, Deeva, and Gracie. Cathy was a 1985 graduate of Truman and Bucks County Technical High School. She graduated in 2013 with her Bachelor's degree in Human Services from the University of Phoenix.

Cathy loved the beach and warm weather. It was her dream to live where it was always warm. This dream came true when Mary Beth and Cathy moved to Coral Cay in Margate, Florida, in 2022. Cathy was an active member of the Coral Cay community, serving on the HOA board and participating in special events. She loved the Golf Cart parade and dressing up for Halloween. Together, Cathy and Mary Beth gave back to their community through their We Care program, where they delivered food to those in need during the holiday season. Cathy deeply cherished the friends who became family at Coral Cay, and their friendship brought her great happiness.

Cathy worked at several assisted living facilities in both Pennsylvania and Florida and loved supporting and interacting with the residents under her care. She worked as a Sales Director at Tiffany Court at Kingston, A.L.F. in Pennsylvania. An avid wine lover, Cathy also previously worked at Chaddsford Winery in Peddlers Village.

Cathy is survived by her loving wife, Mary Beth, her children, John (Kerri), Emily (Jacob), and Sarah Flynn. She is also survived by her stepchildren Justin, Jared, Jenna, and Julia. Cathy will be missed by her grandchildren, Justin Jr., Lyza, Amiyah, Hazel, Charlee, and Atlas, all of whom adored her and lovingly referred to her as "G-Caf". Cathy will also be greatly missed by many friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held on March 29th in Margate, where friends and family from her community will come together to honor her memory. A second celebration of life will be held on April 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main Street, Pittston (Port Griffith), PA 18640.
