Edith F. Gardinor - Private
Edith F. Gardinor, 80, of Pittston, passed away Monday evening, September 22, 2014, in Manor Care, Kingston. She was the widow of Robert E. Gardinor, Jr., who died December 17, 1968. Born in Youngsville, New York, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Agusta Wood Amback. Edith was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School, Jeffersonville, NY and furthered her education in the healthcare industry. Prior to retirement, she was employed as an operating room technician at Binghamton General Hospital and Nesbitt Hospital, Kingston. Surviving is her daughter, Lynn Gardinor, her caretaker and with whom she resided; sons, Robert E. Gardinor, III, Highland, NY and Dale Gardinor, Wilkes-Barre; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street Pittston (Port Griffith).
