Edward P. Drozda, Jr., 75, affectionately known as "The Most":, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Edward Drozda and Geraldine Copchunis Drozda. Ed attended Wilkes-Barre Twp. High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1969, during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1973. Ed worked for PP&L most of his life.
Surviving are his children, Brenda Drozda Lang, Port Orange, Fla.; Danielle Drozda and Michael McCree, Hanover Twp., and Eddie Drozda and Katie Pilch, Hanover Twp.,; grandchildren, Blaine Lang and Mason McCree; brother, Dave and his wife, Fran (Cheech), Plains; nieces, Kimberly and Krysten.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staffs of both The Preserve at Mountain Top and the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, for the kind and compassionate care given to Ed.
A Private Blessing service was held in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Twp. by Msgr. John J. Sempa and military honors by the AMVETS Honor Guard of Greater Pittston.
