Julie Cohen, 70, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at her home. A native of Plymouth, also resided in Ashley for many years and was most recently a resident of Pittston. She and her husband, Mel Cohen, celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary, prior to his passing November 11, 2008.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Justine Pokrinchak Stasko. She was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1973. She was formerly employed by Acme Markets.

Julie is survived by her sister, Susan Stasko Cefalo, Jenkins Twp.; nephew, Christopher Cefalo, Wyoming; her constant feline companions, Nobu and Dashi; and various cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Michael C. Cefalo.

A private interment will be held in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Plymouth.
