Scott P. Usevicz, 52, of Pittston, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Robert and AnnaMae T. Sokoloski Usevicz. He attended Pittston Area High School. Scott was a General Contractor and could build and remodel practically anything.
Scott was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, devoted partner, uncle and friend. He was an active member of the Lithuanian Club in Pittston and the American Poolplayers Association (APA). An enthusiastic golfer, he relished playing with friends in a Friday golf league.
To many, Scott was more like a brother than a friend. His presence illuminated any room and enhanced every situation.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Joelene Gross; Children, Kyle Callahan and wife Alyssa; Kristie Usevicz and companion, Daniel Dougal; Paige Usevicz; Step-Children, Madison Williams and Kyle Norton; Grandchildren, Wyatt Dougal and Phillip Weitz; Sister, Robin Turner and husband, Elwood; Brother, Robert Usevicz and wife, Diane Ferrira; Sisters-In-Law, Heidi Usevicz & Paula Strubeck; several Nieces and Nephews & Great Nieces and Nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Usevicz.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects during a celebration of Scott's life on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston, (Port Griffith).
