Marie A. Kovitch, 86, of Exeter, formerly of Trucksville passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in Highland Manor, Exeter.

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Leopoldo & Antonietta Cecchini Caruso. She was a graduate of Nativity High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed as nurse's aide at Summit Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre and earlier as a cafeteria worker at Seton Catholic High School, Pittston.

Marie was a devote member of Back Mountain Harvest Assembly of God, Trucksville, PA., where she participated for over 14 years in their Praise and Worship Ministries. During her younger years, she would often volunteer her time in the former Leader Nursing Home in Kingston, and Meadows Nursing Home, Dallas, PA.

She is survived by her son, Robert Kovitch and wife, Frances O'Shea, West Wyoming and Helen Marie Fronczek and husband, Joseph, Exeter; 8 Grandchildren, 14 Greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Kovitch, III and sister, Theresa A. Bohrman,

A private visitation and Memorial service was held in Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston,(Port Griffith) with Pastor Dan Miller, formerly of Back Mountain Harvest Assembly of God. Interment was in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton, PA.
